The rules. There are not many, but they matter.

By using Local 10s you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

18+ only

You must be at least 18 to use Local 10s. No exceptions. Where local law sets a higher age for venues we mention, that law wins.

Scores are opinions

The heatmap, city scores, and notes are editorial. A 7 is our take, not a fact, not a measurement, and not a promise about any place or any person. Treat them like a friend’s opinion, because that is what they are.

What you can post

Notes and spot suggestions must be about real public places — bars, beaches, markets, neighborhoods. Hard rules:

• Public places only. No private addresses, no “ask me where.”
• No phone numbers, handles, or contact info — yours or anyone else’s.
• No classifieds. This is not a place to advertise services of any kind.
• No harassment, no targeting individuals, no naming or describing specific people.
• Nothing illegal, and nothing that encourages anything illegal.

We can remove content

We may edit or remove any note, suggestion, or account at any time, for any reason, without notice. Usually the reason is the list above.

No guarantees

The site is provided as is. Places close, scenes change, scores age. We do not guarantee accuracy, availability, or that any night out goes the way you hoped.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, Local 10s is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site or from anything that happens at a place we list. You go out at your own judgment and risk.
